Epic Games通过MegaGrants计划在2021年资助了31个XR项目

Epic MegaGrant是Epic Games于2019年推出的虚幻引擎激励计划，旨在加快全球各地使用虚幻引擎、3D图形工具和开源软件的优秀团队与个人的工作进度。近日，Epic Games宣布，该计划在2021年共资助了31个XR项目。

Epic Games重新整理了2021年MegaGrant获奖者的完整名单，其中包括390个独立项目，每个项目都获得了高达50万美元的资助。据统计，其中有31个是以XR为目标构建的，分别涉及游戏、模拟、教育等领域。

Epic Games表示，MegaGrants奖励不是投资或贷款，获得者可以使用这笔钱来“做任何能让他们的项目成功的事情”，而不受公司监督。同样，获得者可保留对其IP的全部权利，并且可以选择发布他们想要的项目。
